INGREDIENTS
500g of sirloin or strip steak, cut into steaks
Oregano, salt, and vinegar to taste
2 cloves of crushed garlic
2 beaten eggs
Breadcrumbs, enough for breading
Wheat flour, enough for breading
500ml of tomato sauce
250g of sliced mozzarella cheese
Grated Parmesan cheese for sprinkling
Basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Preparation Method:
A few minutes beforehand, season the fillets with garlic, oregano, vinegar, and salt.
Coat them in wheat flour, then in beaten eggs, and then in breadcrumbs, and then fry them in hot oil.
After frying, drain them on absorbent paper.
Arrange the fillets in a baking dish drizzled with a little sauce.
Place slices of mozzarella cheese over the fillets and drizzle with more sauce.
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.
Bake in a preheated medium oven until the cheese melts.
Garnish with fresh herbs and basil, then serve.
