INGREDIENTS:
1 kg of cooked cassava.
200 g of mozzarella cheese.
200 g of ham.
2 tablespoons of creamy ricotta cheese.
1 carton of heavy cream.
100 ml of whole milk.
1 sachet of tomato sauce.
1 clove of garlic, crushed.
Oregano and salt to taste.
PREPARATION METHOD:
Mash the still-warm cassava until it forms a very smooth puree. Add the milk, cream, cream cheese, crushed garlic, and salt. Mix well until creamy.
In a baking dish, place a layer of the cassava puree. Then add a layer of ham and another of mozzarella. Cover with the remaining puree.
Spread the tomato sauce on top, sprinkle with oregano to taste, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 25 to 30 minutes, or until bubbling and lightly browned.
If you want to make it even tastier, sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking.
Another great tip is to lightly brown the mozzarella using the grill function for the last 5 minutes.
